Patar Beach

What's your favorite beach in the world?

>>> I wasn't able to take a dip in a lot of beaches, so I would say my favorite would be the one we last went to - the Patar Beach in Bolinao, Pangasinan. I love that beach because you can enjoy the water as well as the surroundings, and you won't have to worry about the level of the water because the part near the shore is relatively shallow, especially on parts where the seaweeds grow. The water isn't wavy as well -- perfect to take the kids in the beach. Because there are lots of sea weeds and corals below, one is asked to wear slippers of rubber sandals, but the place is great for snorkeling as well. But what I love the most was that it wasn't as commercialized as the other famous beaches. You really can enjoy your time swimming, and at most times it's just you and the beach. It's like the beach is your super oversized pool! =)

What's the next country you want to visit?
>>> I still haven't had the chance to go out of the country, but if there's one country I want to see, it would be India. I am very, very fascinated with this country -- my friend say it's the only country where there's desert, snow, and tropical locations. I am also fascinated with their culture and their traditions. I hope to attend an Indian wedding, I hope to wear a green sari, and I hope to take a dip at the Ganges River, considered as one of the holy places in this world.

However, I just love my country way too much, I don't think I will hope to go out of it, not until I have visited all of its 72 provinces! I still haven't had the chance go to past Tagaytay in the south, so no way in the world would I want to go to another country.

What one thing are you craving today?
>>> As always, it's spaghetti. I miss eating the pepperoni spaghetti I cooked last week, but I wasn't able to buy some last Saturday, so it's back to the traditional hotdog spaghetti for me. =) Which reminds me, it's already 1:30PM and I still haven't had my lunch! Gotta go now!

{picture in this post -- a picture i shot in patar beach at 7am. that's uncle pete and his family on the left side, and mom on the right side. see how shallow the water is? actually, it's only shallow on parts where there are sea weeds. if you want to be adventurous, you can walk up to the break water, but it's going to be really deep there!}

  6. That sounds and looks so wonderful.

    What attracts me most about the beach is the sounds of the sea, so I wonder if I would miss it at your beach.
