This set of pictures were one of those year old pictures that I need to scrap. At this point in time, I am starting to get drowned in pictures I need to scrap! Believe it or not, I still haven't scrapped my 27th birthday pictures and I already turned 28! Whoa! Anyway, my goal for this month is to finish scrapping all the remaining 2007 pictures so that I can start scrapping the 2008 pictures.
These pictures were taken May 2007, when the close neighbors went our first summer outing. There will be about three sets of layouts for the pictures - one for our personal pictures, one for the random pictures, and this one: the family pictures.
The friendship started when we moved in this neighborhood back in 1985. At that time, the places is still developing. I think we were the fourth family to move in here, and the Raboys welcomed us the very first day we got here. As years passed, the place developed people started moving in. The Jacelas we met next, then the Villarandas. There was a moment that the Jacelas went back to their province, but when they got back, that's when we all started bonding. Actually, Mr. Jacela is my dad's best friend here.
Their friendship is what sparked the bonding between us all. One time, Mr. Jacela was here asking if he could watch this certain TV show because his wife was watching a different show. He said, we've been neighbors for so long now, why the need to be shy? So if dad wanted to borrow something, he would just go there and borrow. They started doing it to the other neighbors, too, so all of us became closer to one another.
Supporting pictures, clockwise: Mr. and Mrs. Jacela (their kids are all not around that time), Us, Villaranda Family (they only have one child - Marife, the two kids are Marife's daughters), and the Raboy / Garro Family.
