This picture was taken last November 01, when the family visited daddy's grave. All Saints Day is such a big event here in the Philippines, and since dad's grave is in a private cemetery, the staff of the cemetery had this program throught the day. The last part of the program was the releasing of balloons - a symbolic activity in which living loved ones would whisper or write some wishes and sent out the balloons in the air, hoping the dead loved ones would receive the wishes wherever they might be.
I just loved how the color of the sky and the balloons contrast, so I snapped a picture of it.

I remember losing balloons as a kid, it always made me sad. Wondering where they went, so high up in the sky.
