My brother is set to come home on the 16th so the family would be complete for sister’s 19th birthday on 17. My sister has planned to go out with close friends on that day, and might not come home, so the family’s celebration will fall on the next day. Since that’s the case, I asked brother if he would like to attend the Beatles’ Night, and after a day of discussion, he finally decided to come with me.
The Beatles’ Night will be on Monday, December 17 at the 70s Bistro in Anonas Ave., Quezon City. As a person who is not into night life and barhopping, this would be an experience to look forward to. Not only that, I am a self-confessed Beatlemaniac, and although it won’t be the real members playing the tunes, I am sure the band would be do justice to the songs.
Entrance fee is 150 pesos, and that includes one free drink. According to the person who posted the ad, the show would start at 10pm, but she encouraged people to come a little early because it’ll be a jam-packed house once the show starts.
Brother and I will split expenses in half. Depending on the time, should the show end at 1 or 2am, brother and I might check-in the nearest hotel, or do some more barhopping, until it is a bit safe to come home.
Hopefully brother won’t change minds once he comes home. And hopefully, I could convince my kumare Frelyn and her husband Patrick to attend, too.

Update 12-10: This post was originally written last Saturday (12-08), but due to Internet connection problems, it was just now that I was able to post this. I got to talk to brother already and he already told me we would use his prize money (from being published in Food Magazine). Yehey!
